! This record from DAR Lineage Book. It was in error, Mary Helphenstine that married David Watson was the daughter of Peter Jr. and Susannah Catherine Lantz. I have entered the information as it should have been. The record number is 84617. It also states Major Peter was born in 1733, which may or may not be correct, others state he was born in 1724, which I believe to be more accurate. It says he was born in Frederick County, Va. of which he was not, he was born in Germany, and arrived in Wilmington, Del. with his wife Catherine (Berger) and 1 newborn son John Philip Jacob, on the ship Recovery in 1753. He didn't die in 1776 as this entry implies, but closer to the fall of 1778, as there are records in Frederick Co., Va. C.H. that records him alive, until then. His will was probated in the spring of 1779.

History of Madison Co., Ohio tells you the whole story of David and his wife Mary, and who her father was. More errors in this record, but I entered the information correctly.
