! The following was found in Madison Co., Ohio Deed Book 4 accidently. It was at the bottom of a deed for Peter and his wife Elizaheth. This may or may not be Rosanna, but it sure seems likely that it is. INDENTURE 11 October 1819 Recorded 14 November 1819 This indenture made the eleventh day of October in the year One Thousand eig hundred and nineteen, between John Sherer and Rosanna his wife of the County of Ross and State of Ohio, on the one part, and John Phifer of the county of Madison and State of Ohio of the other part, witnesseth, that the said John Sherer and Rosanna his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars, current money of the United States of America to them in hand paid. The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and forever acquit and discharge the said John Phifer his heirs executors and administrators have granted bargained .....to the said John Fifer (note spelling difference of Phifer/Fifer) his heirs and assigns forever that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Madison and State of Ohio..... NOTE: At this time I do not have the rest of this deed, but it could be that Rosanna did indeed get her part of her fathers estate.
