! Daviess Co. Indiana history records land purchase of Peter Helphenstine in 1811. Possibly he didn't go there until around 1820, as his older children were born in Kentucky. The land was in Reeves Twp., Daviess Co., Ind.

! In 1850 Peter is listed as a resident of Martin Co., Ind.

! There was a second marriage for Peter. He married Tabitha McKay, but she shows up on the 1860 census as Delitha, I believe her name must have been Tabitha Delitha McKay.
