Comteck isn't being reliable about giving access to the FTP server, so it's a catch-as-catch-can process. The guidelines page is now updated to reflect the version currently being mailed to new list subscribers. There's a short page containing nothing but the email commands for the non-Yahoo subscribers. I'm afraid it's going to be quite a while before I tackle the User Help page--the screen shots and such are a lot of work, and I just don't have the time presently. Also, the Subscription page has been changed to reflect the new world order. Plus this site, although it frankly doesn't deserve it, got a bit of recognition (oh thank you). Check out the new icon on the base of the main page. I've got a truckload of new websites to add to the links pages, and I'll be putting these up as time permits. I'll slap the date on these so that you can tell which ones are new. October 2000 1, Added some more shareware, after a list discussion. 2. Fixed the CBE link on the job page (thanx Sue), and added the proposal/grant writing site to the jobs (as an extra) and the education links pages. Removed News MAIT (dead site). 3. New link on the members page (Katherine); one link removed (unsubbed). 4. New link on the mailing lists page (Editorium Update). September 2000 Took off one dead link (ergonomics site on Misc page--I'll find something ergo-oriented some other time). Added new sites to the following Links pages: Jobs, Education, Mailing Lists, and Misc. Slight reorganizing on the Misc. page, but it's still, well, misc. August 2000 Various updates, including many new links on the software pages, jobs pages, and education pages. Fixed dead links on the software pages. Corrected dead email link on the office pages. Reorganization of lead information page. Addition of new faq on contract work to information section. Addition of heavily edited sample digests to subscription pages. RSACi rating tags will be added as pages update. Note: eGroups is now part of Yahoo. April 2000 Okay! I just finished reloading the links pages, which were down, like, forever. I broke it up into separate pages, radically expanded the jobs area, and added some notes about group health insurance to the organizations area. Of course, I still need to work on it all, but this will do for now. I also reformated the pages in the (now) Fun Stuff area, so there shouldn't be so many dead images floating around. ONElist references changed to eGroups as a result of the services merger. February/March 2000 Working on the Netscape problem! Updating all pages (still in progress). June 21, 1999 The on-list survey on changes to the mailing list continues. I'm a-tallyin'. A tentative new version of the welcome message is now up in the information section. March 9, 1999 Change in sidebar for new section on web information. I've revamped the "Members" page to include some "how-to" information, and added more software to the Software page.
